Model VC-3534 Tub Lifter/Transporter        

The Model VC-3534 Tub Lifter is an air operated unit that enables a vacuum tub to be lifted from the turntable of the Model 3500 Vacuum Blender and transported to a casting station with minimum effort.  An air-over-oil system is utilized for accurate control and smoothness of operation. 

 After reaching the casting station, the transporter raises the vacuum tub and allows the tub to be rotated for a controlled pour.  Because of the cantilevered design, the tub can be centered  over a 48" wide pouring mold and moved along the side of the pouring station with complete access to the entire mold.

There are five positions on the tub to be used for a pouring axis.  The position chosen is determined by the level of material to be poured.  

      The Tub Lifter/Transporter operates on 90 PSI of filtered air.  After the tub is lifted from the turntable, the air line may be disconnected and the tub can be moved to a remote area for casting.  Upon reaching the casting area a different air line may be connected for the subsequent raising and lowering.   

       This arrangement offers the flexibility of not necessarily having the vacuum blender and casting station right next to each other as is done with a gantry and overhead crane system.
